Ruby Woo. The #1 cult classic of lipsticks. A blue-based red lipstick that glams up those from the fairest skin tones to darkest of the spectrum. Yet, the consensus remains the same that while this shade is beautiful and flattering to all, it can be the most drying formula one has ever experienced!
Don't worry. I've discovered a method that not only keeps my lips moisturized while wearing Ruby Woo but it also prevents my lip color from fading throughout the day:
Step 1: LIne and fill in your lips with a red lip pencil as close in color to Ruby Woo as possible. My favorite is NYX's Lipliner Pencil in Hot Red (817).
Step 2: Apply a thin layer of a lip balm in a shade of red close in color to Ruby Woo. I prefer Revlon's Lip Butter in Candy Apple.
Step 3: Apply Ruby Woo to your lips.
Easy, huh? I like to keep things simple and budget friendly here at shalandaleigh.com.
