On Sunday, January 31st I made my way downtown to attend the SynSha' Fashions Motique One Year Anniversary & Pre V-Day Fashion Show. Ryan was supposed to attend the show with me, but his ever changing work schedule didn't allow for my partner in crime to join me. After getting lost twice and having to parallel park, I made it!
The event was held at the Downtown Cigar Lounge in Jacksonville, Florida. The establishment is both Black owned and operated. I would love to visit this place again with Hubs. It's a great atmosphere for having a few drinks on Fridays after work.
Owner of First Coast's first "Mobile Boutique" SynSha Richardson was such a ball of energy! Her curated pieces were sexy yet classy and very much on trend. Her message of it never being too late to pursue your passion and fulfill your dreams really resonated with me. She also thanked her husband for making her mobile fashion boutique come to life by transforming both the interior and exterior of her pink van. Gotta love a Black King that supports his Black Queen!
