Hey y’all! I’m back with Part II of my Wayfair review. Thank you for all the support from Part I which you can read here. I was quite surprised to learn just how many people were curious about the quality of Wayfair furniture. I am planning to remodel my daughter’s bedroom soon featuring pieces from Wayfair and will blog about the process here. But for now let’s get into reviews of my latest purchases.

6. Summersville Upholstered Platform Bed by Everly Quinn

Getting a new bed frame has been at the top of my wish list since I purchased my condo in 2018. I never loved the bedroom set I’d originally had but it was purchased when I was married and it was the only one we could compromise on. Now that I’m single again, I wanted to take the opportunity to create the bedroom oasis of my dreams and for me that meant a very neutral palette of beige, tan and brown with gold accents.

After YEARS of searching for the right frame, it was love at first sight when I saw the Summersville Upholstered Platform Bed on the Wayfair website. After a few weeks of contemplating I finally settled to get yet another King sized bed and I’m glad I did. The low platform and simple design of the Summersville Upholstered Platform Bed is the perfect focal point of the room as well as providing the “soft life” vibes.

I hired a pro from the Handy app to assemble the bed frame. He expressed how impressed he was with the quality of the bed being that he assembles a lot of furniture from stores like Target, IKEA and Wayfair. Four years later and I still have no complaints about this frame at all. I’m looking forward to replacing my mattress to take my sleep routine to the next level!

7. Leeman Task Chair by Wrought Studio

My office space is one area of my home that I’m still unsure about in terms of the overall look. Being that it is a small rectangular space (with no window might I add!), I know that I have to do everything possible to make the room feel as large as possible. One way I thought to give the illusion of a larger office was to have glass desks (more on that later in this post) and acrylic desk chairs such as the Leeman Task chair.

The assembly instructions were clear and it only took me about twenty minutes from start to finish. The chair has the option to increase/decrease the height of the chair. It is comfortable for extended periods of time (more than an hour) even though I would never recommend sitting in one spot for that long. I’m not sure if I will purchase a second acrylic chair for the other desk in my office because I feel like I want chairs with arm rests now. But then again I’m a stickler for uniformity so only time will tell.

8. The Kalel Upholstered Bench by Willa Arlo Interiors

When I purchased this bench in 2019, I had it in my mind that it would be the perfect accent piece to place in between my two buffets. Now we are in the year 2025, and I still feel like this was one of my best interior decorating decision yet!

Assembly of this piece was quick and easy with the use of an Allen wrench to attach the legs. This shade of teal pairs well with the other jewel tones in my living/dining room space. We mainly use the bench when we are putting on our shoes to leave for school in the morning.

I would also recommend placing the Kalel bench in either a home office or at the end of a bed in a master suite. Luckily, this piece is still available although it now goes by a different name on the Wayfair site. Click here to take a closer look at its dimensions and other available colors.

9. The Parker Fuchsia Area Rug by Mistana

Whenever I share glimpses into my home on Instagram, this rug is the most complimented piece of decor. It’s colorful and eclectic pattern really brightens up my living room without overwhelming the space. It has a low pile height of 0.5 inches which works well in such a high traffic area. Low pile rugs are also easier to vacuum which makes it easier to keep dust and allergens at bay.

10. Bauer Glass Desk by Willa Arlo Interiors

Going back to my need to make my office feel larger, I opted for two of the Bauer Glass Desks. One desk is my primary desk to house my iMac and the second desk is for crafting. I love them both as they are almost visually non-existent which helps my small office feel more roomy.

But be warned. These desks are HEAVY! I’m talking about 125 pounds! It took both of the delivery drivers to unbox and place the desks in their desired locations. I’m not looking forward at all to the day when I have to move them when it’s time to paint the office. Despite their weight, I must admit that these desks are of amazing quality and would highly recommend them if you’re in search of a similar look.

11. Kowalewski Table Lamp Set by Mercury Row

I purchased this lamp set in 2020 in the thick of the pandemic. Since I was home much more than normal during that time, I started to noticed areas in my home that needed more lighting and my dining area was number one on the list. I placed one of each lamp on opposite ends of my buffets to add symmetry to the space. The bubble-like effect adds the right touch of character while the dark navy color adds a bit of sophistication.

At the time of this post, this set is only available in White, but I would check the site regularly as I’m sure the other color options (orange, mustard, etc.) will make a return soon.

12. The Hillsby Teal/Garnet Area Rug by Mistana

In need of a second area rug to place under my dining room table, I was hoping to find one with a similar color palette to that of the The Parker Fuchsia Area Rug but with a different design. The Hillsby Teal/Garnet Area Rug by Mistana did not disappoint at all! It was until now, writing this post, that I realized that both rugs were from the same brand. The Hillsby is also a low pile rug which makes cleaning it a breeze!

13. Kulas TV Stand for TVs up to 60”

Last but not least, my Kulas TV Stand. I know y’all are expecting to rave about this piece as well, but unfortunately that’s not the case for this stand. Once again, I hired a professional from the Handy app to assemble this piece and it immediately went downhill from the moment he opened the box. From the product description it is described as white in color but it actually turned out to be a cream color. That is not what I wanted.

I was also missing the shelf that was for the open compartment. These two issues alone made me want to cancel the entire assembling process but my handyman suggested I called Wayfair to see what my options were. As always, Wayfair’s customer service is exceptional. They apologize for the incorrect product description and missing piece. Due to shipping issues at the time, they couldn’t guarantee me they could send me a replacement shelf. They offered me a full replacement of the tv stand or I could get a full refund and keep the one I had. I took the refund of course!

As the handyman continued assembling the tv stand, he noticed that some of the holes were aligned correctly and that a few of the hardware pieces were missing. He ended up freestyling the best that he could and for the most part it turned out okay. I still haven’t replaced the tv stand even after 6 years of not liking it but it holds it purpose.
