I couldn't believe the words I was reading. Lucky Magazine is no more?! That was the very first fashion magazine I fell in love with. I was in high school and bought a subscription every year. I would hoard each issue vowing that I would be as stylish as the models on the pages one day. Although I couldn't afford any of the clothes then (and even now), Lucky taught me how to have an eye for spotting both trendy and classic wardrobe pieces no matter what store I visited.
I'm so sad to hear it's the end of the road for all those in the Lucky family, but I would like to sincerely thank each and every one of you for the things you taught me in my early beginnings with fashion.
And what's up at the Teen Vogue offices? Are decrease in sales the reason for the publication to merge with its older sister Vogue? Could this be the end of teen fashion magazines? I mean, what else is out there for them? I guess we will have to wait and see?
